The UVA School of Data Science archives its Data Science Seminar Series on Cassyni. We’ll be archiving more seminars soon as the semester heats up, so watch this space. Recent additions to the archive from the spring semester:
Lei Li (UVA), From Cells to Cities: Towards Geometric Intelligence across Physical Scales.
Chirag Agarwal (UVA), The Illusion of Transparency: Explainability and Safety in Healthcare.
Madhav Marathe (UVA), Biocomplexity and Network Science: A Symbiotic Relationship.
A word about the platform. Each recording gets a full transcript with an AI-generated outline you can use to jump around. You can also “ask the speaker” a question to get an AI-generated answer from the talk slides and transcript, as well as “ask the series” for an AI Q&A of the entire seminar series pulling from all the talks, slides, and transcripts. The video is synced to the slides, so clicking a slide in the scrubber jumps you to that moment in the talk, and each slide comes with an AI-generated summary.
